Cougars Inching Closer to Community Heroes Weekend

The Prince George Cougars are getting closer to their annual Community Heroes Weekend which begins Saturday, October 21st at 6:00 pm against the Kamloops Blazers presented by Coastal Gaslink.

The Cougars are thrilled to express their deepest gratitude to the local businesses that have generously supported the upcoming Community Heroes Weekend with over 3000 seats purchased and donated to honour our local heroes!

The Prince George Cougars are honoured to donate $50,000 in seats to our local heroes and are humbled by Prince George's generosity in joining us to support those who help make our city a great place to live.

The weekend also features a Mega 50/50 with a guaranteed $50,000 Jackpot in support of Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation, RCMP Victim Services and Prince George Firefighters Charitable Association. The Mega 50/50 is guaranteed by Wood Wheaton Supercentre and is brought to you in partnership with Prince George Community Foundation and Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation. Prior to Sunday's game, there will be a pre-game tailgate party outside the CN Centre presented by Canadian Tire!

And will be available at Carls Jr. 50/50 kiosks at the game on October 22nd vs the Medicine Hat Tigers.

The Community Heroes Weekend is an annual initiative designed to celebrate the dedication, sacrifice, and selflessness of our local heroes, including first responders, healthcare workers, educators, and all those who have gone above and beyond to serve the Prince George community.
