After out-hitting Syracuse 10-9 last night, Rochester is now 44-9 when out-hitting their opponent this season.
GONE STREAKIN': After scoring in the top of the second inning Wednesday, Rochester has now scored a run in 125 straight games dating back to 4/8-G2 in Syracuse...this marks the longest streak in the International League this season, 60 games ahead of second place (MEM, 65)...no International League team has scored a run in 100-straight games since at least 2005, and no Rochester team has done so since at least 1997....
Rochester has been shut out just twice this season (4/4, 4/8-G2), which would be the fewest in a single season for a Red Wings team since at least 1985, with the next-closest being four in 1993.
KLEPTOMANIACS: The Wings stole three bases Friday, one each from LF DARREN BAKER, 2B JORDY BARLEY, and 3B JACK DUNN...Rochester has now stolen a base in nine straight games since 8/29, the longest streak by a Red Wings' team since at least 2005...

MEJIA MAGIC: 3B ERICK MEJIA launched a home run for the second-straight game last night, his eighth of the season...he finished 2-for-5 with three RBI and two runs scored, extending his hitting streak to a team-long six games dating back to 8/31...the righty is hitting .400 (8-for-20) with two home runs, a double and five RBI since that date...
This is the second time this season Mejia has launched a home run in back-to-back games (7/27-28 at WOR).
WELCOME TO THE BAKE SHOW: LF DARREN BAKER picked up three singles in the win last night, going 3-for-5 with a pair of RBI...this marks his first three-hit game with Rochester since 5/19 in Buffalo, and his third consecutive multi-hit game dating back to Tuesday...
This is the first time he's logged three-straight multi-hit performances since 5/6-11.
Baker now has 29 multi-hit games, passing Jake Alu (28) for most by any Red Wing this season.
MORENO MANIA: RHP GERSON MORENO tossed a pair of innings last night, allowing one earned on two hits while striking out one...this was Moreno's International League-leading 56th appearance this season, tying him with Alberto Baldonado (56 in 2022) for most by a Wings reliever since Kyle Waldrop appeared in the same number of games in 2011...
Moreno's 2.61 ERA is second-best among IL relievers (min. 50.0 IP), while logging the third-most strikeouts (85).
BRADY BUNCH: C BRADY LINDSLY picked up a pair of hits last night, going 2-for-3 with a run scored...he has now collected five hits through his first two games played in this series after going 3-for-4 on Tuesday...five hits across two games is tied for the most in his professional career (4/21 & 4/22/2022 with HBG).
