WEEK 18 - RIVERMEN ACTION (1-1-0-1)
Thursday, January 31 - RIVERMEN 4 vs. Grand Rapids 1
Carl Corazzini boosted the Griffins to a 1-0 lead after one period, but the Rivermen responded with four unanswered goals to win going away Thursday night. Martin Kariya scored twice and added an assist while Charles Linglet had three assists and Nicholas Drazenovic added a goal and two helpers. Steve Wagner scored the game winner at 10:27 of the second period.
Friday, February 1 - RIVERMEN 1 vs. Rockford 2 (SO)
Two of the AHL's top four offenses battled back and forth but failed to score until the third period when Rockford's Bryan Bickell scored on a rebound to give the IceHogs a 1-0 lead just 1:26 into the final frame. Yan Stastny recorded the equalizer at 9:01 on a feed from Nikolay Lemtyugov that forced the eventual shootout. There the IceHogs scored twice on four shots while Peoria managed only one goal in five chances and ended up with just a single point.
Saturday, February 2 - RIVERMEN 3 vs. Milwaukee 7
After opening the game with a goal from Martin Kariya, Peoria allowed six straight against before Cam Keith and Alex Hellstrom scored late goals in a 7-3 loss to end the week. Josh Langfeld (2-1-3) and Antti Pihlstrom (2-0-2) each scored twice for the Admirals in the win.

RIVERMEN NEWS AND NOTES
* Captain Aaron MacKenzie skated in his 300th AHL and Professional game on Friday night against Rockford
* The line of Charles Linglet, Julian Talbot, and Martin Kariya combined for all four goals in Peoria's 4-1 win over Grand Rapids Thursday night.
* After Thursday's win Peoria is now 12-1-0-0 against the Western Conference North Division this season, winning the last 12 straight. The lone loss came in Peoria's first game against the West on Oct. 27 by a 5-3 score against Grand Rapids in Peoria.
