Milwaukee, WI - The American Hockey League announced today that Milwaukee Admirals center Cal O'Reilly has been named the Rbk/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending February 3, 2008. O'Reilly tallied one goal and five assists for six points to go with a plus-3 rating in two Admiral wins.

On Friday night, O'Reilly earned first-star honors in a 5-4 victory over Chicago, scoring the game-winning goal and recording two assists. On Saturday, he came back with three assists, including one on the winning goal, as the Admirals defeated Peoria 7-3 to earn their first win in four tries at the Carver Arena. They were the third and fourth three-point games of the season for O'Reilly, who has 13 points during his current six-game scoring streak.

A second-year pro and a 2005 draft choice by the Nashville Predators, O'Reilly leads Milwaukee in assists (36) and points (45) and ranks second on the team in plus/minus rating (+11) while appearing in all 47 games in 2007-08. The 21-year-old Toronto native is also tied for third in the AHL with four shorthanded goals. Last year, O'Reilly led all AHL rookies with 47 assists and was the Admirals' second-leading scorer with 65 points in 78 contests.

In recognition of his achievement, O'Reilly will be presented with an etched crystal award prior to an upcoming Admirals home game.
