Remillard Promoted to White Sox Saturday

(JACKSONVILLE, FL) - The Charlotte Knights announced two roster moves ahead of the team's game five matchup against the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp from 121 Financial Ballpark in Jacksonville, FL on Saturday night. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m.
INF Zach Remillard was recalled by Chicago White Sox today. The 29-year-old is hitting .264 (32-for-121) with 15 runs scored, six doubles, one home run, 16 RBI and four stolen bases in 40 games with the White Sox this season. With Charlotte this year (65 games), he hit .235 (55-for-234) with 46 runs scored, 11 doubles, one triple, five home runs, 28 RBI and 16 stolen bases.
INF José Rodríguez was optioned to Charlotte today and is active for tonight's game. Rodriguez, 22, entered the 2023 season ranked as the number six prospect in Chicago's system as rated by MLB.com. This season, Rodríguez has appeared in 87 games with Double-A Birmingham and has compiled a .264 batting average with 63 runs scored, 101 hits, 17 doubles, 18 home runs, 54 RBI and 28 stolen bases. He made his major-league debut with the White Sox this season (June 20) vs. Texas and scored the game-winning run that day.
