The Stingrays downed the Augusta Lynx, 5-1, Tuesday night at the North Charleston Coliseum to record their eighth straight home victory. Marty Guerin registered a goal and two assists, while Cail MacLean and Pierre-Luc O'Brien collected three playmakers. Last evening, Gwinnett dropped a 5-4 overtime decision in Charlotte to the Checkers.

2008 ECHL All-Star Travis Morin has recorded multiple points in four straight games (5g, 3a) ... Grant McNeill's 1st period goal on Tuesday was his first marker since opening night ... Following a win, the Stingrays are 16-5-0-1 this season ... During their eight-game win streak at home, South Carolina has outscored its opponents 33-10 ... 14 different players have registered game-winning goals this season for the Stingrays ... Gwinnett's Craig Kowalski, the starting goaltender for the American Conference in next week's ECHL All-Star Game, was returned last week from the AHL's Syracuse Crunch, where he posted a 2-1-0 mark with one shutout ... Gwinnett's Campbell ranks second in the ECHL with 36 assists, while O'Brien is tied for sixth with 29 helpers ... Gladiators F Myles Stoesz leads all ECHL rookies with 127 penalty minutes ... Gwinnett owns the league's top power play (23.9%) and penalty kill (87.4%) ... Nesbitt has been on recall to the AHL's Rockford IceHogs since late December, where he has collected nine points in 11 contests for the Chicago Blackhawks top affiliate.
