Rampage Reassign Ross to Las Vegas

SAN ANTONIO (February 7, 2011) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Brad Treliving today announced that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has reassigned defenseman Nick Ross to their ECHL affiliate, the Las Vegas Wranglers. Ross, 21, has skated in 17 games with the Rampage this season posting five assists and a plus-6 rating. The 6-foot-1, 194-pound defenseman played in 47 games with the Rampage last season posting two assists and 19 penalty minutes.

The Edmonton, Alberta native has tallied three assists in 11 games with the Wranglers this season and posted an assist and two penalty minutes in seven games with the Wranglers last season. He was selected by the Phoenix Coyotes in the first round (30th overall) in the 2007 NHL Draft.
