San Antonio Rampage News Release

Two Rampage players are teaming up to participate in San Antonio's biggest Thanksgiving Day tradition - the 26th annual Raul Jimenez Thanksgiving Dinner. The players will spread the spirit of Thanksgiving by joining other volunteers in serving turkey and all the fixings to patrons at the holiday feast.

Close to 25,000 people are expected to be served a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. The dinner will take on a special meaning this year, as hurricane evacuees will be among the special guests, in addition to the homeless and the elderly.

Last year, the 25th annual dinner served 9,000 pounds of turkey; 6,400 pounds of yams; 1,860 pounds of stuffing; 1,300 pounds of cranberry sauce; 3,000 pumpkin pies and 32,000 dinner rolls.
