Cleveland Barons News Release

CLEVELAND - Cleveland Barons General Manager Wayne Thomas announced today that the club has reassigned left wing Glenn Olson to Fresno Falcons (ECHL) and right wing Jonathan Tremblay to Kalmazoo Wings (UHL).

Olson has gone scoreless in 10 games this season, earning 16 penalty minutes. He missed the first 45 games of the 2004-05 season after suffering an injury at the San Jose Sharks training camp. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound Olson then split his time between Cleveland and the ECHL's Johnstown Chiefs and Fresno Falcons. With the Barons, he earned one point (assist) in six games. He played four games in Johnstown, earning nine penalty minutes, and 10 games in Fresno, where he netted one point (assist) and 105 penalty minutes.

Tremblay skated in training camp with the Barons, but has yet to appear in any games this season. He went scoreless in one game during a brief stint with the Toledo Storm (ECHL) in October.

The 6-foot-3, 240-pound native of Fauquier, Ontario appeared in one game for the Barons last season and 46 games for Johnstown. He finished the season with the Chiefs with five points (2-3-5) and 136 penalty minutes.

The Barons will return to National City Rink located at The Q on Saturday, November 26 against the Manitoba Moose at 1:05pm, prior to a Sunday afternoon game against the Moose. Tickets for the games are on sale now at The Q Box Office and through all ticketmaster locations.
