WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Sacramento scored four runs in a rain-soaked first inning that lasted more than three hours as the River Cats beat New Orleans 10-4 on Wednesday night at Raley Field. Josh Donaldson opened the scoring with a two-run double before a 3-hour, 20-minute rain delay. When play resumed, Sacramento tacked on two more first-inning runs. Neither starting pitcher returned after the delay, and six Sacramento relievers combined to allow four runs over 8.0 innings, with Trystan Magnuson (1-1) earning the win with 2.0 scoreless innings. River Cat Steve Tolleson hit his fifth home run of the season in the sixth inning.
