Tucson Padres News Release
The Tucson Padres return to Kino Stadium Friday for an eventful series against the Salt Lake Bees (Angels affiliate). All four games start at 7:00 pm and the homestand features giveaway items, a fireworks show, and a Bark in the Park event. Below is a game-by-game preview of the next four games:
Friday, May 27 - Tucson Padres T-Shirt Night:
Presented by K-HIT 107.5. The first 2,000 adults, ages 16 and older, with a paid admission will receive a FREE Tucson Padres T-Shirt. Gates open at 6:00 pm. Western Little League Night: The Western Little League will have a fundraiser to raise much needed funds for their program. The team that sells the most tickets will play the Padres in an exhibition prior to the game.
Saturday, May 28 - Memorial Day Weekend Fireworks Spectacular:
Presented by Rosemont Copper and K-HIT 107.5 along with the other great people at Citadel Broadcasting. This is the second of five fireworks shows at Kino Stadium in 2011. The others are June 25, July 4, and August 27. Bring the family as the skies light up above the ballpark for a patriotic show.
Sunday, May 29 - Military Appreciation Night:
Presented by Chase Bank, K-HIT 107.5 and KiiM-FM 99.5. The Padres will honor all branches of the military in Southern Arizona at every Sunday home game. The team will be wearing the green camouflage uniform tops worn by the San Diego Padres the past 10 years. This Military Appreciation Night will honor Davis Monthan Air Force Base on this very special Memorial Day weekend. It's also Bark in the Park II, when our furry four-legged friends come out and enjoy the game. The first Bark in the Park was so successful (265 dogs and 6 adopted) that the Padres decided to offer it again. Fans may sit out on the grass berm in the outfield with your pet. The Humane Society of Southern Arizona will be in attendance. It's also Goodwill of Southern Arizona Night - go to the Community Page of the Tucson Padres website to learn how you can get a 2-for-1 coupon for Sunday home games by donating to Goodwill.
Monday, May 30 - KiiM Family Night:
A group or family of four will get four reserved tickets, four hot dogs, and four Coca-Cola based soft drinks FOR ONLY $20 - a $65 value! Any tickets purchased after four will be sold at a $5.00 price. All you have to do is mention KiiM-FM. A special Memorial Day ceremony will also take place.
Tickets are still available to all four games by calling (520) 434-1367, logging onto www.tucsonpadres.com or visiting the Kino Stadium box office from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. All four games of the homestand start at 7:00 pm and parking is free!
