Today's Game Postponed Due to Inclement Weather
May 25, 2011 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Omaha Storm Chasers News Release
OMAHA, Neb. - Wednesday's scheduled game has been postponed due to inclement weather, the Storm Chasers announced late this morning. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Thursday evening beginning at 5:05 p.m., with Werner Park gates opening at 4:30. The Storm Chasers and Tucson Padres will play a pair of seven-inning games to wrap up their four game series.
Thursday's twin-bill will take place on a Thirsty Thursday, featuring $1 Pepsi products, $1 Bud Lights and $1 Busch Light cans. It will also be the return of Jersey Shore Night, which netted the Omaha franchise a coveted Veeckie Award from ESPN The Magazine last season.
Fans with tickets to Wednesday's game may exchange them at the Werner Park ticket office for any future Storm Chasers game during the 2011 season, excluding July 3 and July 15, pending availability.
