Raiders Select Lance Yaremchuk, Taran Lacquette and Kevin Yasinski

Prince Albert SK- The Prince Albert Raiders select left winger Lance Yaremchuck in the 6th round (116th overall), defenceman Taran Lacquette in the 7th round (140th overall) and forward Kevin Yasinski in the 8th round (162nd overall) with their final picks in the 2011 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft today in Calgary Alberta. The Raiders traded their 9th and 10th round picks to the Spokane Chiefs in exchange for the Chiefs 9th and 10th round selections in the 2012 Bantam Draft.

6th Round- 116th Overall: Lance Yaremchuk

Position: Left Wing Height: 5'8" Weight: 150lbs

Shoots: Left Hometown: Tisdale, SK

#17 - Yaremchuk

Yaremchuk finished 3rd on his team and 4th in the Centre Four League in scoring with 41 goals and 28 assists for 69 points in 20 games with the Prince Albert Pirates.

"Lance has a great work ethic and is a very strong skater" said Raiders Head Scout and Director of Player Personnel Dale Derkatch. "He is a good team player who can put up points."

7th Round- 140th Overall: Taran Lacquette

Position: Defence Height: 5'10" Weight: 175lbs

Shoots: Right Hometown: Waterhan, Man

"Taran is a good puck moving defenceman who has a good hockey sense" said Dale Derkatch.

8th Round- 162nd Overall: Kevin Yasinski

Position: Forward Height: 6'2" Weight: 173lbs

Shoots: Right Hometown: Fairview, AB

"Kevin is a solid, hard working role player" said Derkatch.
