Raiders Acquire Bader from Calgary

Prince Albert, SK - The Prince Albert Raiders have acquired 2001-born forward Bryce Bader and a conditional sixth-round pick from the Calgary Hitmen.

In exchange, the Raiders have sent the rights to 2001-born forward Quinn Olson and a conditional sixth-round pick to the Hitmen.

Bader is listed at 6'1 and weighs 205 lbs. The Sherwood Park, AB product was drafted by the Hitmen in the second round of the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft. In 10 games with the Hitmen this season, Bader has four goals and 11 penalty minutes.

Olson was selected in the sixth round of the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft by the Raiders.

The Raiders return to the ice for the final two home games of the month this weekend. On Friday, the Portland Winterhawks make their biennial visit to the Art Hauser Centre for a 7 p.m. game.

On Saturday, the Raiders host the Hitmen for the Second Annual Sock Hop Presented By Parkland Ambulance. Fans are asked to bring new pairs of socks to throw on the ice during the second intermission with the chance of winning a new TV. Puck drop is 7 p.m.
