'Canes Score Late Goal, Drop ICE 3-2

Lethbridge, AB - The Kootenay ICE dropped a 3-2 decision to the Lethbridge Hurricanes at ENMAX Centre on Wednesday night thanks to a late goal by Jake Elmer.

With under four minutes remaining in regulation time, Elmer jumped on a rebound and found room on Jesse Makaj's blocker side to give his team the lead and the eventual win.

The 'Canes also received goals from Dylan Cozens and Jordy Bellerive in the game.

The ICE got goals from Connor McClennon and Jakin Smallwood. Goaltender Jesse Makaj received first star honours, stopping 51-of-54 shots he faced.
