
Chiefs Sign Forward Kaden Hanas to WHL Agreement

Spokane, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs announced on Thursday that they have signed 19-year-old forward Kaden Hanas to a WHL Standard Player Agreement. Hanas is expected to join the team this week.
"Kaden plays with a grit and compete," said Chiefs assistant general manager Chris Moulton. "We are pleased to have him join our club for the remainder of the season."
Hanas, standing 5-foot-10 and 185 pounds, spent the first half of this season with the Drumheller Dragons of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL), scoring five goals and 12 assists for 17 points in 30 games. The Strathmore, Alta. native also piled up 87 penalty minutes and wore an "A" as an alternate captain.
Last season with the Dragons, he recorded 13 points (7G-6A) and 168 PIM in 49 games.
Hanas will wear jersey number 15 with the Chiefs.
