Pushkarev Returns To Manchester

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have assigned right wing Konstantin Pushkarev to the Monarchs, Kings President of Hockey Operations/General Manager Dave Taylor announced today.

Pushkarev, 21, made his Kings/NHL debut and collected his first NHL point - an assist - on Monday at Vancouver. He has one point and zero penalty minutes in one game with the Kings this season. In addition, the 6-foot, 180-pound native of Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan, has 32 points (18-14=32) and a team-leading 18 goals in 70 games with the Monarchs this season. The Kings selected Pushkarev in the second-round (44th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

The Monarchs travel to Canada to play the Toronto Marlies at the Ricoh Coliseum on Friday, March 31. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m.
