
Hamilton hosts Chicago tonight

The Hamilton Bulldogs (30-38-0-4) play the first of back-to-back home games tonight when the Chicago Wolves (30-30-2-8) visit Copps Coliseum at 7:30 p.m. In the first meeting of the season on November 23 at Allstate Arena, Chicago defeated Hamilton by a score of 4-2. The Bulldogs have an all-time record of four wins, four losses and one overtime loss against the Wolves. Hamilton will be looking to snap a five-game losing streak, while Chicago will be in search of their sixth straight win.
At tonight's game, Rogers Wireless will be giving away a Motorola ROKR phone as well as pens and yo-yos, and select fans will receive flowers as they enter the building courtesy of Smith McKay.
After facing the Wolves, the Bulldogs return to the ice tomorrow, Saturday, April 1, when they battle the Manchester Monarchs at 7:00 p.m. In the first meeting of the season on February 4, Brad Winchester scored 2:08 into overtime to give Hamilton a 2-1 victory. The Bulldogs have an all-time record of two wins and one overtime loss against the Monarchs.
Any fans bringing a non-perishable food item to Saturday night's game will receive a 2-for-1 ticket voucher and a photo of Duncan Milroy showing his buns! The 2-for-1 ticket voucher is valid for any of the Bulldogs remaining home games this season. This promotion is part of the Bulldogs Food Drive in support of the Salvation Army, which runs from April 1 - April 15. Bulldogs fans can bring their non-perishable food items to any home game or to the Bulldogs office, from Monday to Friday, during regular business hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).
At Saturday's game, one lucky fan will have a chance to shoot to win a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt courtesy of Queenston Chevrolet! Cars will be on display and Queenston will be giving away 1,000 $500 gift certificates! In addition, Girl Guides of Canada will be selling cookies and Great Glasses will be handing out gift packs to fans as they enter the building.
Fans can listen to every Bulldogs game on the flagship station of the Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Network, Hamilton's 820 CHAM "The Legend". Fans can also listen to or watch Bulldogs games on-line at www.hamiltonbulldogs.com. To listen online, click on the âBulldogs Action 820 CHAM Listen Live' Icon on the âDogs website. Ellery Award winning broadcaster Derek Wills will provide the play-by-play call of all 80 regular season games with Al Craig providing the colour commentary for home games and select road games.

- RW Andrei Kostitsyn has 12 points (4g-8a) in his last 11 games.
- D James Sanford needs only one more goal this season to tie the franchise record for most goals in a season by a defenceman. The franchise mark of 10 goals was set in 1997-98 by Craig Millar. Sanford leads all Bulldogs defencemen in scoring with 26 points (9g-17a) and ranks third on the team with a plus/minus rating of +8.
- C Corey Locke has earned one assist in each of his last two games.
- LW Jean-Francois Jacques' goal in Hamilton's 3-2 loss to the Syracuse Crunch on Saturday, March 25 was his first point in six games.

- C Marc-Antoine Pouliot made his NHL debut last night in the Edmonton Oilers 4-0 victory over the Los Angeles Kings. C Brad Winchester played his first game for Edmonton since being recalled from Hamilton on March 29. Oilers LW Raffi Torres scored the game-winning goal while C Jarret Stoll earned an assist.
- Canadiens C Chris Higgins scored twice and G Cristobal Huet made 27 saves as Montreal defeated the Washington Capitals 3-2 in overtime.
