Public Skating Put on Hold

AUGUSTA, GAâ The Augusta Lynx announced today that due to unresolved legal issues they do not yet have permission from the Richmond County Coliseum Authority to hold public skating. Therefore, there will be no public skating for the Lynx Open House scheduled this Saturday from 12-3. In lieu of public skating, Lynx player's that have arrived in town will be having a skate and shoot exhibition during that same time frame.
The Lynx will host the Columbia Inferno Saturday, October 5th at 7:35 pm at the Civic Center in a preseason Exhibition game. The Lynx will open the regular season on Friday, October 11th against the Florida Everblades at 7:35 pm. Tickets for the Exhibition game and all regular season games are now available through Ticketmaster or by contacting the Lynx Ticket Department at 706-724-4423.
