September 25, 2002 - ECHL (ECHL)
Greensboro Generals News Release
Greensboro, NC â Starting Monday, the Greensboro Generals of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) will give fans every opportunity to attend Generals games in ways that fit their schedules. Not only will season tickets remain on sale for as low as $255.00. The Generals will also be offering Flex Plans so people can buy their tickets six, twelve, or 18 at a time. In addition, the Generals' Brigade Four Pack (formerly the Family Four Pack) will be expanded to include every home game this season. Finally, single game seats will be on sale starting Monday at 11:00 at the Greensboro Coliseum box office. Individual game prices this year range from $10.00 to $20.00.
Generals Flex Plans allow fans the opportunity to fit Generals games around their time schedule and their budget. They can be bought in groups of six, twelve, or 18 ticket vouchers in either the goal view or center ice sections, with prices ranging from just $50.00 to $186.00. The Flex Plan ticket vouchers are designed so fans can attend any game they choose.
The Generals' Brigade Four Pack, sponsored by WXII Channel 12, Pax 16, and the Greensboro News and Record, was a highly successful program last season on a limited basis, prompting the decision to have them available for every game. For just $30.00, fans will receive four tickets, four drinks, four popcorns, and a souvenir. The Brigade seats are located in Sections 113, 114, and 115 of the Greensboro Coliseum.
Individual game tickets will be sold starting at 11:00 a.m. this Monday. Prices for Generals tickets are $10.00 for goal view seats, $12.00 for center ice tickets, $14.00 for rinkside and VIP seats, $17.00 for on-ice tickets, and $20.00 for the exclusive Foxhole section, an exclusive, private ice-level section fully equipped with a cash bar, barstools and cocktail tables. Tickets can be purchased at the Greensboro Coliseum box office Monday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. â 6:00 p.m. Tickets can also be ordered by phone through Tickets.com at (888) 397-3100, or at any of 13 Tickets.com outlets located at local Lowe's Foods grocery stores.
Of course, the Generals are still offering a tremendous discount on season tickets. Season tickets range from $255.00 for goal view seats to $648.00 for the Foxhole. Center Ice seats will sell for $310.00, Rinkside tickets will cost $360.00, and On-Ice seats will be $510.00. Those ticket prices reflect a discount of 10 â 29% off individual ticket prices.
Greensboro's season opener is slated for Friday, October 11 at 7:30 at the Lexington Men O'War. The Generals' home opener is Friday, October 25 at 7:30 against the Reading Royals. Opening night is Hooters Magnetic Schedule Night, with the first 2,000 fans entering the building receiving a Generals 2002-2003 schedule.
