WHAT'S NEW!
The American Hockey League announced today that Pirates left wing Dustin Penner has been named a Second Team All-Star. Penner ranks 11th among AHL scoring leaders with 75 points (36 goals, 39 assists) and leads the league in plus/minus (+36).
The Pirates have won four games in a row and can clinch their first ever Atlantic Division title tomorrow night against the Hartford Wolf Pack at 7:05 p.m. Fans can watch the game live on the internet by visiting www.portlandpirates.com or listen to the game on the "Big Jab" Pirates Radio Network on WLOB 1310AM, 1220AM ESPN Radio, WTME 780AM and WKTQ 1450AM.

In addition, bring out your favorite flowered shirt and get ready to jam to a little Jimmy Buffet - the Parrot Head Club of Maine will be at the game celebrating summer in April and raising money for Maine Handicapped Skiing.
Also on Sunday, Maine Artist Greg Sturniolo will be at the game displaying his original series of 5 Hockey Paintings. Limited edition prints will be available at a special sale price of just $48 (original price $75). This special sale gives fans a great opportunity to own a fantastic piece of the Portland Pirates in the form of a hand-signed, numbered print.
