Over 200 Women Attend Women's Hockey 101 To Learn Basics From Flyers And Phantoms

Over 200 female hockey fans attend free clinic on basics of the game from Flyers and Phantoms personnel on an evening that also introduces a new line of pink women's Flyers jerseys.

Women's Hockey 101 will feature presentations by Flyers TV Color Analyst Steve Coates on new NHL rules, Flyers Equipment Manager Harry Bricker on overview of hockey equipment and Flyers Athletic Trainer and Conditioning Coach Jim McCrossin on importance of nutrition and conditioning in the sport. The Flyers will also unveil a new unique line of pink women's jerseys at the event. Orders for one-of-a-kind jerseys will be available for select members of the 2005-06 Flyers team.

Phantoms Head Coach John Stevens and his wife Stacy will also be in attendance and speak on the everyday life of a pro hockey family. Following presentations, the attendees will participate in a fundamentals clinic led by Coates and a locker room tour led by McCrossin.

Participants can also enter-to-win an autographed Peter Forsberg jersey and Phantoms team autographed jersey.
