
Playoffs Open at Maverik Center Next Weekend; Tickets on Sale Now

West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies announced today that tickets for games one and two of their first round playoff series are on sale now at the Maverik Center box office, http://www.utahgrizzlies.com or any Ticketmaster location.
Groups of 10 or more can get discounted pricing for playoff games by calling (801) 988-7825. Luxury suites are also available for playoff action.
The Grizzlies will be the third or fourth seed in the Western Conference and hold home ice advantage in the first round. They will host games one and two of the Western Conference Quarterfinal Playoff series that will take place Friday, April 18 and Saturday, April 19 at 7 p.m. at Maverik Center The Grizzlies will open against either Bakersfield or Colorado in the 2-3-2 first round series.
Utah currently holds the second best home winning percentage in the ECHL at .735, behind Alaska's .750. The Grizzlies have the fewest home losses in the ECHL and at this point are tied with the 1994-1995 Grizzlies for the fewest home losses in team history. Utah has won 22 games at home, their highest home win total since the 1999-2000 season. The team also went unbeaten in an all-time team record eleven-straight home games from December 27, 2013-January 29, 2014.
With Thursday's win, the Grizzlies have tied their highest win total since the 2002-2003 season. The Grizzlies at 37-24-3-5 are on pace for their best regular season winning percentage since the 1999-2000 season.
