
Mickey Lang Named to All-ECHL First Team

Orlando, FL - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Minnesota Wild and Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Iowa Wild and Toronto Marlies, in conjunction with the ECHL announced today that F Mickey Lang has been named to the All-ECHL First Team.
Lang leads the ECHL in goals with 44 and power play goals with 16. He is the first player to score 40 goals in the league since 2010-11, when Wes Goldie led the league with 46 goals. Lang is third in the ECHL with 75 points, and tied for third with 21 power play points. The Solar Bears acquired Lang in trade with the Fort Wayne Komets in late December, and in 34 games with the Orlando the high-scoring forward has collected 49 points on 27 goals and 22 assists.

Solar Bears Close Regular Season with Three at Home This Week:
The Orlando Solar Bears conclude the 2013-14 Regular Season with games tonight, Thursday, April 10, and Saturday, April 12, at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 13, at 3:00 p.m. at the Amway Center. Saturday's game is Fan Appreciation Night, with the first 3,000 fans in attendance receiving Rally Towels, courtesy of Victory Casino and Local 6. The Solar Bears will also wear special Old Time Jerseys during the game. On Sunday, the first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a special Solar Bears Team Photo courtesy of SunRail and SunDance Marketing Solutions, and one lucky fan who registers at the game will have a chance to take a shot on the ice and win $5,000, compliments of SunRail.
