
K-Wings Ftorek and Reid Earn All-Team Accolades

Kalamazoo, MI- For the second straight day members of the Kalamazoo Wings have earned league accolades. This afternoon defenseman Sam Ftorek was named to ECHL First-Team, while defenseman Elgin Reid was selected to the Second-Team.
Ftorek leads all ECHL defensemen with 46 points (13 goals, 34 assists), 10 power-play goals, and 25 power-play points. The blue liner's 47 points are also the most by a K-Wings defensemen in their ECHL history. Earlier this season, Ftorek became just the third player in ECHL history to reach the 700-games played plateau for his career.
Reid ranks second among defensemen with 32 assists and is sixth with 37 points. Reid also leads all defensemen with 17 power-play assists, while his 18 power-play points are tied for second.

Ftorek and Reid join K-Wings forward Matt Caria in the league's end of the year awards recipients. Yesterday, Caria was named to the ECHL All-Rookie Team.
Kalamazoo will conclude their season long six-game road swing tomorrow, Friday, April 11th with a 7:15 p.m. face-off versus the Toledo Walleye.
Tickets for the final regular season game on Saturday, April 12th versus the Evansville IceMen and K-Wings playoff home games are currently on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster locations, including www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000. Ticket office hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturdays.
Individual regular season ticket prices for home games are $13 and $17.50 for adults and only $7 for kids ages 12 and under. Fans can save money by purchasing K-Wings single-game tickets in advance. Tickets purchased on the day of a game increase by $2 (adults only).
K-Wings Pepsi playoff tickets are also available. Thanks to Pepsi, the first 2,500 fans that purchase tickets specifically for game one of round one will enjoy a special $4 ticket price. These special $4 tickets for game one are part of the team's 2013-14 season long 40th Anniversary celebration and reflect ticket prices from the K-Wings Inaugural 1974-75 season.
Regular pricing for all other K-Wings Pepsi Playoff games are $17 and $20 for adults and only $8 for children 12 and under. Also, courtesy of Pepsi, the team is offering special $10 tickets for groups of 15 or more throughout the playoffs.
