Grizzlies and Wranglers to Continue Game Thursday at 11:30 a.m.

West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies and Las Vegas Wranglers will resume tonight's game Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at the Utah Olympic Oval. The game is tied at 1 with 6:12 left in the second period.

All fans are invited to attend the conclusion of the game at no charge. The Olympic Oval is located at 5662 South Cougar Lane in Kearns.

The game will be broadcast live on 1320 KFAN, 1320KFAN.com, iHeart Radio and on the 1320 KFAN app.

During the second media timeout in the second period, the arena operations crew was called out to look at a spot behind the Las Vegas goal. After nearly two hours of feverish work, the ice was ruled unplayable.

The Grizzlies organization wishes to give a sincere thanks to the loyal fans in attendance tonight, most of whom waited until the final announcement was made. Every effort was made to continue the action of tonight's game, but it was not possible.

The Grizzlies offices will be open at 9 a.m. Thursday to assist and service all fans with tonight's game tickets in person or by calling (801) 988-8800.

Until the delay, the game was a goaltender's battle with Aaron Dell stopping 14 of 15 Las Vegas shots and Travis Fullerton stopping 23 of 24 Utah shots.

Danick Paquette's 21st goal of the year tied the contest on the power-play 6:31 into the second period with Charles Sarault and David Vallorani drawing assists.

At the time of the stoppage, the Grizzlies were outshooting Las Vegas 24-15.

Maverik Center ice will be ready for the Grizzlies season finales Friday and Saturday versus Idaho. Face-off both evenings is at 7 p.m.
