
'Pigs Lose Fourth Straight

Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
(Allentown, Pa) - The Lehigh Valley IronPigs (69-61) dropped their fourth straight game on Wednesday evening as they lost to the Worcester Red Sox (68-62) 3-1. The IronPigs were held to just five hits in the game.
Lehigh Valley's lone run of the game came in the bottom of the fourth inning against former IronPigs pitcher Connor Seabold (8-1). Yairo Munoz scored on an RBI groundout by Rafael Marchan. Seabold allowed just one run over six innings pitched. His counterpart, Noah Skirrow didn't allow a run over six innings pitched in his AAA debut.
The WooSox scored three runs against Griff McGarry (0-1) in his AAA debut. Two runs came in the top of the seventh inning as Ryan Fitzgerald hit a go-ahead two-run double. Bobby Dalbec homered against McGarry in the top of the eighth inning to give Worcester a 3-1 lead.
Andrew Politi earned his first save of the season for Worcester by pitching a scoreless bottom of the ninth inning.
The IronPigs and WooSox play a double-header on Thursday evening at Coca-Cola Park. First pitch for game one is at 5:05 p.m.
