
Pecker leads Ducks past Barons

CINCINNATI, Ohio - Cory Pecker scored a goal and added an assist to lead the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks to a 4-2 victory over the Cleveland Barons Friday at the Cincinnati Gardens.
Tony Martensson, Jonathan Zion and Rob Valicevic also scored goals for the Ducks, who snapped a six-game losing streak. Peter Podhradsky chipped in with a pair of assists.
Jean-Francois Damphousse made 22 saves for Cincinnati, which entered the game in the midst of a four-game home skid (0-3-0-1).
Patrick Rissmiller scored twice on the power play for the Barons, who have lost seven straight and eight of their last nine.
Seamus Kotyk finished with 37 saves in the loss.
The Ducks play the second game of a current four-game home stand Sunday against the Grand Rapids Griffins at 4:05 p.m. at the Cincinnati Gardens.
