Albany N.Y. – The American Hockey League announced today that Albany River Rat defenseman Raymond Giroux has been selected by the fans as a starter for the Canadian AHL All-Stars at the 2003 Dodge AHL All-Star Classic, to be played on February 3, 2003 at the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland, Maine.

Giroux, 26, will be making his second consecutive trip and third overall appearance (2000) at the AHL All-Star Classic.
