Hossa Recalled by Canadiens

The Montreal Canadiens, a parent club of the Hamilton Bulldogs, have recalled left-winger Marcel Hossa from Hamilton (AHL).

Hossa, who scored two goals last night in the Bulldogs' 5-2 win over Binghamton, has played 36 games in Hamilton this season and has recorded 18 goals, 12 assists and 30 points. The 6'02, 211 pound winger is also second in AHL plus/minus with a (+22) rating.

Hossa, Montreal's first selection, 16th overall in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft is schedule to join the Canadiens tonight, for tomorrow night's game in Edmonton.
