Over 23,000 Fans For Last Three Home Games

South Carolina Stingrays News Release


The South Carolina Stingrays beat the Greenville Grrrowl on Saturday night in front of 9,082 fans at the North Charleston Coliseum. The largest crowd since the 2001-2002 season. The Rays have welcomed over 17,000 fans in their last two games and 23,00 fans in their last three games. South Carolina has rewarded their home fans with three straight wins on home ice.

The Stingrays are now just two points away from the Charlotte Checkers for the fourth spot in the South Division with a record of 18-15-10.

Matt Reid continues to score for the Stingrays, and now has 29 points on 13 goals and 16 assists. Rookie Jeff Legue has a team leading 14 goals and 13 assists on the year.
