Boise, ID - Idaho Steelheads' head coach and director of hockey operations, Derek Laxdal, announced today that winger B.J. Crombeen has been recalled to the Steelheads AHL affiliate, the Iowa Stars.

Crombeen, who was sent from the Stars to the Steelheads on January 30, competed in one home game and two road games with the Steelheads. He collected two goals and one assist in the three contests. The 20-year-old Crombeen, who was born in Denver, Colorado, scored his first ECHL goal in a 6-4 win at the Florida Everblades on February 1.

In 34 games with the Iowa Stars this season, Crombeen registered 10 points (4g, 6a). He also amassed the first penalty minutes in franchise history, picking up a roughing minor on October 6, 2005, in the club's season opener. Crombeen is expected to be in the lineup tonight as the Stars battle the Manitoba Moose.

The Dallas Stars originally selected Crombeen in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft (2nd round, 54th overall). The Steelheads are the ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars.

The Steelheads next game is on Saturday, February 4 versus the Florida Everblades. Faceoff from Estero, Florida is at 5:30 p.m. MST.
