Ontario Reign Chasing Playoff Clinching Scenarios Tonight

Ontario Reign News Release
As the Ontario Reign prepare to battle the Stockton Heat tonight at 6:00 p.m. PT at Citizens Business Bank Arena, here are the potential 2016 Calder Cup Playoff clinching scenarios:
Ontario clinches a playoff berth on Saturday with:
(a) a point vs. Stockton, OR
(b) a San Jose loss (reg/OT/SO) vs. San Diego, OR
(c) a Charlotte loss (reg/OT/SO) at Manitoba
Prior to this season, the LA Kings' AHL affiliate reached the playoffs in 13 of 14 seasons as the Manchester Monarchs (affiliates from 2001-15) including the last six straight seasons and are coming off a championship season last year.
The Lowell Lock Monsters (affiliates from 1999-01) reached the postseason in both years under the Kings' flag and the Springfield Falcons reached the 1999 Calder Cup Playoffs in their lone season as a Kings affiliate. In a partial affiliation with the Fredericton Canadiens (1997-98), the Kings' affiliate reached the playoffs before bowing out in the first round.
