Flames Assign Tyler Wotherspoon to Stockton

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that they have assigned defenseman Tyler Wotherspoon to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Stockton Heat.
Wotherspoon, Calgary's second round pick (57th overall) in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, has played 11 games for the Flames this season and has one assist. The 23-year-old has also skated in 45 games for Stockton this year and he has six assists and 14 penalty minutes.
