
Omaha Assigns Steve Marr

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that defenseman Steve Marr has been assigned by the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights of the American Hockey League.
Steve Marr will make his Las Vegas Wranglers and ECHL debut tonight against the Alaska Aces at the Orleans Arena at 7:05 pm. Prior to the Wranglers, Marr played 29 games in Omaha this season, registering no points and 29 penalty minutes. He is in his first professional season. He made his professional hockey debut on October 8th at Iowa. Marr is the former captain of the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League (WHL). He played in 242 games in the WHL posting 44 points on 16 goals and 28 assists while adding 330 penalty minutes. The 6'2" 207 lbs. native of Kamloops, BC helped the Tigers capture a WHL Championship and a spot in the 2004 Memorial Cup. In 44 playoff games, Marr collected nine points and 94 PIM.
