
Storm to Hold Alumni Game And Teddy Toss

(Toledo, Ohio) On Saturday, February 18th the Toledo Storm will play two in a matter of speaking to help out two terrific charities.
At 5pm, the Toledo Storm Alumni will take the ice. The Alumni Game is sponsored by Wendy's Old Fashion Hamburgers, and the doors to the Toledo Sports Arena will open at 4:30pm for fans to watch the alumni game. Some of players that are scheduled to attend are former Storm players: Nick Vitucci (current Storm head coach), Iain Duncan, Pat Pylypuik, Rick Judson, and Andy Suhy. Former Toledo Goaldiggers will also participate and include: Jim McCabe, Ted Tucker, and Dave Falkenberg. Following the Toledo Storm against the Wheeling Nailers that night, all the alumni jerseys will be auctioned off will all proceeds going to the Dave Thomas Foundation.
February 18th is also the annual Teddy Bear Toss. All fans are encouraged to bring a new stuffed animal to the Storm game and throw them on the ice when the STORM score their first goal of the game against Wheeling. The animals will be donated to the Lucas County Children Services. Lucas County Children 's Services is a charity that helps abused and neglected children in Lucas County. The toss is also brought to you by BCSN, which is televising the game live.
