HEADLINES: RedHawks drop 3rd straight ... Masset starts tonight ... 6-game homestand starts Tuesday

TODAY'S OPPONENT: The New Orleans Zephyrs are the Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals. They have been a member of the Pacific Coast League since 1998. Last year, the Zephyrs finished 64-76, fourth in the American Conference Southern Division.

TODAY'S GAME: The RedHawks finish their four-game road trip in New Orleans. This is their 83rd game this season, 43rd road game and 13th game against New Orleans. The RedHawks return to AT&T Bricktown Ballpark for a six-game homestand July 4-9 against Omaha and New Orleans .

LAST GAME: The RedHawks were held to four hits in their 6-1 loss to New Orleans. RedHawk outfielder Anthony Webster went two-for-three, giving him hits in 10 of his first 11 games for the RedHawks. Catcher Jamie Burke was one-for-two with a double and a run scored. New Orleans ' Wiki Gonzalez was two-for-four with a home run and three RBIs.

VS. NEW ORLEANS: The RedHawks are 74-64 against the Zephyrs since the two teams joined the PCL in 1998. They are 32-38 at Zephyr Field. Last year was the Zephyrs' first season series win over the RedHawks since 2001. The RedHawks are 5-2-1 in season series against the Zephyrs. The Zephyrs can clinch a win in the season series with a win in their next four games against the RedHawks.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Starting pitcher Nick Masset makes his sixth start for the RedHawks and his first since June 16. He made his MLB debut with Texas June 27 at San Francisco, pitching one shutout inning in relief. He has four straight quality starts, during which he is 1-2 with a 3.12 ERA (9 ER/26 IP), 10 walks and 20 strikeouts. He has lowered his ERA from 21.00 to 6.47 (14.53 drop) in his last four starts. Billy Traber starts for New Orleans .

EDINSON VOLQUEZ: Pitcher Edinson Volquez has been selected to represent the RedHawks in the 2006 Triple-A All-Star Game. The game will be played July 12 in Toledo, Ohio. Volquez is currently second in the PCL with 105 strikeouts, three behind Tacoma's Francisco Cruceta.

JOAQUIN ARIAS: Shortstop Joaquin Arias has been selected to play in the 2006 XM Satellite Radio All-Star Futures Game. The game will be played July 9 in Pittsburgh, Pa.

STARTING PITCHERS: In the last 32 games, Oklahoma starters have 10 wins. They have given up 64 runs, 56 earned over 186.1 innings (2.70 ERA) with 74 walks and 151 strikeouts. RedHawks starters have 18 quality starts in the last 32 games.

CLOSE GAMES: Thirty-one of Oklahoma 's 39 wins this season have come by four runs or less, including 17 one-run wins. Also, 34 of Oklahoma's 43 losses this season have come by four runs or less. They have 12 losses by one run, nine losses by two runs, seven losses by three runs and six losses by four runs.

RADIO UPDATE: The RedHawks' flagship station for most games is KEBC 1340 AM. However, there are a few dates the flagship station will change due to scheduling conflicts. The RedHawks will be on AM 1000 KTOK July 8 and 1640 AM KTFX July 9.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY: The RedHawks are in the process of building a home for Habitat for Humanity. On Monday, July 26, several RedHawks players helped with the build. The home will be presented to a local family July 4.

DOT-DOT-DOTS: The RedHawks have been swept twice this season: April 14-17 at Nashville and May 1-4 at Round Rock ... The RedHawks are 28-21 since Mike Boulanger took over as manager May 11 ... Former RedHawks Ryan Ludwick (Toledo ), Chad Allen (Omaha), Matt Roney (Sacramento) and Chris Baker (Round Rock) have been selected to the Triple-A All-Star Game.
