Falkenborg Headed to All-Star Game
July 3, 2006 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Memphis Redbirds News Release
Memphis, Tenn. - With Josh Kinney in St. Louis the Redbirds did not have a representative headed to the Triple-A All-Star game next week. That all changed today with the announcement of Brian Falkenborg's addition to the Pacific Coast League roster.
Falkenborg ranks second in the league with 14 saves and is tied with starter John Webb for the team lead with four wins. The 28-year-old right-hander appeared in five games for the Cardinals earlier this season, going 0-1 with a 2.84 ERA.
The Triple-A All-Star game will be broadcast on ESPN2 on July 12 at 6 p.m. CST.
