
Oates Leaves Rays Front Office

South Carolina Stingrays News Release
North Charleston, SC South Carolina Stingrays President Taylor Lee announced today that Jason Oates, the team's Director of Ticket Operations will be leaving the organization in April to pursue other interests. Oates has been with the Stingrays for ten seasons. He has taken a position as a Financial Advisor with UBS in Charleston. Oates will remain on as the team's Director of Ticket Operations until April 15th.
"Jason will be a very hard individual to replace," commented Lee. "He has been a huge part of this organizations success for the last ten years. His relationship with our fans and season ticket base is truly unique and unparalleled in this league. We wish him the best in his future endeavors."
Oates, a Mt. Kisco, NY native, has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the College of Charleston.
"Working with the Stingrays has been a labor of love for me," added Oates. "I am happy to be staying in Charleston, so that I can still enjoy Stingrays Hockey and stay in contact with all the team's fans that I have gotten to know through the years."
The Stingrays will play at home this Saturday night against the Charlotte Checkers. It will be Dodge Baseball Night featuring the Rays in Charleston RiverDogs uniforms and performances by the world famous Zooperstars.
