
Neiszner earns recall to Omaha

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that center Chris Neiszner was recalled by the Omaha Ak-Sar Ben Knights of the American Hockey League.
Neiszner has a new career high with 15 goals scored in just his second year as a pro. The Craik, SK native has dished 12 assists for 27 points in 46 games played this season. The 6-foot, 200-pound center has eight points in his last nine games played and six points in his last four games. This will mark his second stint in the AHL after a seven-game call up to Omaha during the 2005-06 season. In 111 career games, Neiszner has 27 goals and 33 assists for 60 points. 104 of the games have been with Las Vegas over the last two seasons, Neiszner has 26 goals and 32 assists for 58 points. Neiszner spent training camp in Calgary and Omaha the past two pre-seasons.
Las Vegas plays in Idaho tonight, starting a three-game series that continues on Friday night and Saturday night. The Wranglers will then head to Victoria for a similar three-game series with the Salmon Kings next week. Las Vegas returns home to face the Idaho Steelheads on Tuesday night February 27th at 7:05 pm.
