Long Beach Organization Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Wednesday that it has
fined the Long Beach Ice Dogs organization an undisclosed amount for
playing an illegal player in its 4-2 loss at Utah on Feb. 7.
The Ice Dogs signed center Igor
Pohanka on Feb. 7 which is after the Feb. 5 deadline to add any player
who has played for a team based outside of the continent of North America
at anytime during 2006-07.
