Trenton, N.J.(February 14, 2007) - The Trenton Titans defeated the Johnstown Chiefs by a score of 5-0 on Wednesday at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, New Jersey, ending the Chiefs winning streak at five games.

Trenton got on the board early when Troy Riddle one-timed a pass from Jim Henkel past the love of Chiefs goaltender Morgan Cey at 6:33 of the first period. The Titans would gain a 2-0 lead when Scott Bertoli's shot trickled through Cey's pads as Trenton was on a two-man advantage at 13:35 of the first period.

Mike Pandolfo's 35th at 13:32 of the second period tied a team record for goals in a single season and gave Trenton a 3-0 lead. With Johnstown on the power play at 5:53 of the third period, Trenton's Troy Riddle would pick off a pass and skate in on a breakaway, beating Cey to score a shorthand goal and his second of the night.

Trenton would add a power-play goal from Les Haggett at 19:35 of the third to ice the win.

Morgan Cey made 26 saves, and the Chiefs went 0-for-8 on the power play.

The Chiefs return home to face the Cincinnati Cyclones on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. After the game, all fans in attendance are invited to stay and be in the Chiefs team photo! The photos will be distributed prior to the March 25 game against the Dayton Bombers.
