Nailers Acquire Cheesman In Trade With Alaska

WHEELING, WV - The Wheeling Nailers, the 'AA' affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins, have acquired forward Bo Cheesman from the Alaska Aces for future considerations, it was announced today by team head coach Greg Puhalski. As per club policy, no further terms were disclosed.

Cheesman, 27, a native of Guildford, England scored 57 points (30 goals, 27 assists) in 72 games last season with the Aces.

The 6-2, 200 pound forward posted 27 goals and 38 assists for 65 points from 2004-2007 with the Nailers.

The Wheeling Nailers return to home ice on Saturday January 31st for Steubenville Community night. The first 2500 fans will receive a Reno Saccoccia bobble head courtesy of Trinity Health System and WTOV 9 .
