Greenville Grrrowl News Release

GREENVILLE, SC – The Greenville Grrrowl of the ECHL have announced that JEREMY KYTE (F) has been acquired from the Roanoke Express of the ECHL for financial considerations, and will be in uniform for the Grrrowl tonight in Columbia. Captain RYAN STEWART (F) has been place on the injured reserve list, and BOBBY CUNNINGHAM (F) has been moved to the 30-day injured reserve list.

KYTE (6-1, 195lb., forward) has played in 39 games with Roanoke this season, totaling 21 points (6G, 15A) and 22 penalty minutes. Kyte has spent time in the ECHL, ACHL and CHL after graduating in 2000 from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell. The Nepean, ONT native will wear #17 and will be with the Grrrowl when they play the Inferno in Columbia on Friday evening.

STEWART has been placed on the 7-day injured reserve (effective 1/21/04) as a result of a concussion suffered in last week's game in Columbus (Saturday, 1/17). CUNNINGHAM has been moved from the 7-day to the 30-day injured reserve list and will undergo surgery on his injured right shoulder.

Greenville travels to Columbia on Friday night to take on the Inferno, and will continue on to Charlotte for a Saturday night game with the Checkers. Greenville Grrrowl single-game tickets, mini-plans and flex packs are on sale now. Fans can call 864-467-GRRR or log on to grrrowl.com for more information.
