
Columbia's Moore Named InGlasCo ECHL Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Columbia left wing Barrie Moore is the InGlasCo ECHL Player of the Week for January 12-18.
Moore scored seven points (3g-4a) and was +7 while helping Columbia win three of its four games improving to 25-12-4 and first place in the Southern Division. Moore scored a goal and had three assists in a 7-3 win at Greensboro on January 13 and scored a goal in a 5-3 win against South Carolina on January 16. He closed out the week scoring a goal and also had an assist in a 7-4 win at Florence on January 17.
Selected in the ninth round (220th overall) by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1993 National Hockey League Entry Draft, Moore is tied for 16th in the ECHL in scoring with 42 points (16g-26a) in 41 games. He leads Columbia in plus-minus with +20 and ranks third on the team in assists and fourth on the team in goals and points.
Moore scored 56 points (23g-33a) in 72 regular season games and 14 points (8g-6a) in 17 Kelly Cup Playoff games for Columbia in 2002-03. In 2001-02, Moore scored 44 points (20g-24a) in 48 regular season games and two points in five Kelly Cup Playoff games for Columbia while also scoring five points (2g-3a) in 14 regular season games with Portland of the American Hockey League.
On behalf of Barrie Moore, a case of pucks will be donated to a Columbia area youth hockey organization by InGlasCo.
