Louisiana's Shiryaev, Hamilton, Texas' Morgan, Cabana, Langdone Suspended

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Friday that it has suspended Louisiana's Dennis Shiryaev and Jason Hamilton and Texas' Cory Morgan, Clint Cabana and Ashlee Langdone as a result of their actions in ECHL Game # 595 on January 17.

At 20:00 of the third period, Shiryaev was assessed a game misconduct under Rule 56(a) while Hamilton was assessed a game misconduct under Rule 56(f). Shiryaev is suspended two games under Rule 33A Supplementary Discipline and Hamilton is suspended one game under Rule 33A Supplementary Discipline.

At 20:00 of the third period, Morgan was assessed a game misconduct under Rule 56(a) while Cabana was assessed a game misconduct under Rule 56(f). Morgan is suspended one game under Rule 56a Fisticuffs and Cabana is suspended one game under Rule 33A Supplementary Discipline.

At 10:21 of the second period, Langdone was assessed a major penalty for checking from behind and a game misconduct under Rule 48(a), which carries an automatic one-game suspension. Langdone is suspended an additional game for receiving a major penalty for slashing and a game misconduct under Rule 85(b) in ECHL Game # 580 against Louisiana.

Shiryaev did not play in Louisiana's game at Pensacola on January 18 and will miss Louisiana's game at Texas (Jan. 23). Hamilton will miss Louisiana's game at Texas (Jan. 23).

Langdone will miss Texas' games vs. Louisiana (Jan. 23) and at Louisiana (Jan. 24). Morgan and Cabana will miss Texas' game at Louisiana (Feb. 3).
