Beloit Sky Carp News Release
Outfielder Angel Morales has been promoted to high A Ft. Myers after spending 60 games with the Beloit Snappers in 2010.
The 2007 third round pick by the Minnesota Twins also spent the entire 2009 season with the Snappers.
In 2010 Morales leads the team with seven triples, 18 stolen bases, and is tied with fellow teammate James Beresford with 61 hits.
Morales is coming off his best week of the season in which he was named MWL Offensive Player of the week where he batted .550 for the week and had an on base percentage of .667. That batting average was the second best by any player in all of Class A ball and his OBP was tops in the country during that span.
Ticket packages for the 2010 season are now available with plenty of perks to go along with them. Contact a Snappers' representative at 2301 Skyline Drive in Beloit, 608-362-2272, or www.snappersbaseball.com for more information.
