
Moose Edge Heat 2-1 In Shootout

Abbotsford Heat News Release
Winnipeg MB - Corey Schneider stopped 33 shots in regulation and all four in the shootout as the Manitoba Moose edged the Abbotsford Heat 2-1 in the shootout on Monday night in snowy Winnipeg.
Brian Salsito scored his second goal in as many nights for the Moose to open the scoring, while Jamie Lundmark scored the equalizer on the power play late in the second period for the HEAT.
With the loss in the shootout, the HEAT move into a fourth place tie with the Grand Rapids Griffins in the North Division.
Following the shootout, both benches emptied and punches were thrown by Lundmark on Michael Grabner, who demonstratively celebrated his shootout goal in front of the Heat bench.
