Canucks Recall Alexandre Bolduc

The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose, today announced they have recalled centre Alexandre Bolduc from the Moose.

Bolduc, 24, has appeared in 13 games with the Moose this season where he has collected three points (2g & 1a) along with 20 penalty minutes. The Montreal, PQ native has played in seven games with the Canucks already this season after his first recall on October 17/09. In that span he collected two penalty minutes.

Bolduc also appeared in seven games with the Canucks last season where he collected an assist and four penalty minutes. Now in his fifth pro season, Bolduc has played in 207 career games with the Moose where he's scored 92 points (39g & 53a) as well as 299 penalty minutes. He has also played in 24 career Calder Cup playoff games with Manitoba where he's scored 10 points (6g & 4a) and 28 penalty minutes.

Bolduc was originally drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the fourth round, 127th overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
