
Monarchs To Face Either Hartford Or Portland In The Playoffs

MANCHESTER, NH - 2006 Calder Cup playoff tickets for the Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, will go on sale on Monday, April 17 at 10:00 a.m. at the Verizon Wireless Arena box office.
Starting on April 17, first round playoff tickets will also be available by calling Ticketmaster at (603) 868-7300, or by visiting Ticketmaster on-line at www.ticketmaster.com. Fans will also be able to purchase first round playoff tickets at all Ticketmaster locations, including Filene's at the Mall of New Hampshire.
Playoff ticket prices will be $19.50 for adults in the Gold level and $14.00 for adults in the Silver level of the Verizon Wireless Arena, $17.50 for seniors (65 and older) in the Gold level and $12.00 for seniors in the Silver level and $11.00 for youth tickets (12 and under) in both levels. With one week remaining in the regular season, the Monarchs will meet either the Hartford Wolf Pack or the Portland Pirates in the first round of the 2006 Calder Cup playoffs.
If the Monarchs meet the Wolf Pack in the first round, they'll begin a best-of-seven series at the Hartford Civic Center on Tuesday, April 18.

The Monarchs enter the last five games of the regular season trailing the second place Wolf Pack by nine points and lead the fourth place Providence Bruins by three points.
The rivalry between the Monarchs and Springfield Falcons continues on Friday, April 7 at the MassMutual Center. These two teams will face-off for the final time this season when the puck drops at 7:05 p.m.
